Most of us that has a Facebook account I believe have received some unwanted spammy message at some point in time. Yes you can generate leads for free and make sales as well. but being spammy and coming across as a desperate spammer is not a very good or effective way to go about it. Because people will in most cases just get angry at you. Unfortunately many people are sending spammy messages in hope of making a fast sale, but this approach just doesn’t work. They are probably spamming people because they do not know how to sponsor or do proper prospecting. The first reaction

After seeing a spammy message in your inbox the first reaction from you might be irritation as well as anger and that you want to block that person that have sent that spam message. But I would not block them at once, but that is if course totally up to you. But I would give them another chance to see if they could change their approach to Facebook messaging. You could tell them that there is a better way to do their prospecting. And if you have those skills on effective prospecting you can share some free tips with them on a better and more ethical strategy to do their Facebook messaging.

If they do not listen

If they do not listen to your advice or if they keep on pitching or even acting rude, then you might as well block them. But see if they are willing to find out a better way of prospecting and if they are willing to learn from you. Because if you have a training that covers how to connect with people and how to build trust with them so that they then can generate leads and sales for their business, then you can offer to give it away for free to them. But do not just share the link to the training, get them into your sales funnel first. This way you will be building your buyers list, and at the same time giving away a free valuable training to help someone getting more results in their business. And then you can promote multiple offers to them while they are subscribed to your list. Because you should always be building your list, it is a great asset to have.

There are Two wins

So there are two wins with using this strategy. Not all people will react in a positive way when you advice them on what works, some may even be angry and/ or rude. But some people might, you never know. Some people are coach able and some people are not, it is just the way it is. Thank you for reading this blog post.
