Linkedin lead generation.
Linkedin is a great platform to prospect on and to generate leads to businesses. Linkedin may be a little over looked by some marketers, but it is actually aa very valuable platform to use when wanting to generate leads, and also free leads. I have written an earlier blog post involving Linkedin lead generation, but this blog post includes other tips then my previous blog post. The earlier blog post involved search engine optimization and how to set up a professional looking social profile.
What to search for
So how do you find good prospects on Linkedin? Well you can for instance search for names of mlm companies and other online businesses. Then you will find people that are working with those particular companies, or that have been working with them in the past. You should add new contacts daily , but do not add more contacts then 25 per day, especially not if you have a free Linkedin account. Linkedin may send you a warning or block you from adding more people if you are adding to many per day. You can also search for the names of mlm companies that no longer exist. Because people that have been working with for instance Vemma, may still be interested in making money online still.
When it is time for messaging prospects
Before you start to message anyone that you want to add as a contact, make sure to go through their profile,to see if you have common interests. Then you can mention that when you start your conversation with them. You should always do your messaging with your cellphone. Now why is that? Because people usually open audio messages in a higher degree then regular text messages. So focus on sending out voice messages.
When they don’t respond…
When you have sent out voice messages and you the follow day notice that they haven’t responded, then here is what you should do. Write them a message saying ”whats your thoughts on this?” Or ”do you agree?” This will awaken people curiosity and they may click and listen to your voice message.
Other ways of generating leads
You can also do article marketing on Linkedin to generate more leads. Make sure to add a lot of value in your articles and then share them on other social platforms such as Twitter. You can add a link embedded in your articles toa capture page so that you can buld your list. It is very important to actively build a list. You should also use the story feature and share content that you think is interesting to your contacts. Not every story needs to be about marketing , it can be about other things that is going on in society. Things that interest people. This strategy is a way of getting more eye balls on your profile and your content. I hope this will help you generating more free leads into your business.
